JSSI® NAMES CHRISTOPHE CANARD
AS DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL OPERATIONS,
EASTERN HEMISPHERE

 

CHICAGO, IL, May 18, 2005 --- Jet Support Services, Inc. [JSSI] announces the appointment of Christophe Canard as the company's new Director of Technical Operations, Eastern Hemisphere. Canard will report directly to Karl Florian, the company's Director of Technical Services.

His 20 years of experience will be a key factor in meeting the needs of our European customers who will be well served by Canard's focus on customer support.”

Prior to joining JSSI, Canard worked for Dassault Falcon Jet in Teterboro, New Jersey for ten years as the company's Manager of Service Programs where he dealt with major clients and spearheaded several corporate initiatives. While at TBM North America as the company's Product Support Manager, Canard established 14 service centers and directed key areas of the company that focused on international customer and technical support, as well as parts distribution. In 1986, Canard worked as a Research Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia through the Georgia Institute of Technology sponsored by Aerospatiale where he conducted analysis and computer simulation of radar maps matching.

Canard began his aviation career in France where he worked for Alcatel-Espace as an intern in 1986 when he researched software satellite payload optimization and mapping systems. During his internship, Canard earned his Masters Degree in Telecommunications and Aerospace Systems from the Advanced School of Telecommunications in Paris, France. In 1985, Canard earned an Advanced Engineering Degree in Aerospace at the National Advanced Engineering School of Aerospace Technology in Toulouse, France.

Throughout his career, Canard received specialized training in the heavy maintenance PT6A-64 engine and the Falcon 900, as well as management training from the American Management Association. Canard is a licensed private pilot, as well as a glider pilot.
